I’m looking for a Sr. Java/J2EE Developer in New York City. Do you have anyone that might be interested in the position that rolled off project?
There are eight positions open and the client is actively interviewing.
I need a Senior Java/J2ee developer with Front end development experience with Ajax (JavaScript, jQuery, ExtJS, etc). We need someone with extensive Java, J2EE, JSP development experience, and MVC Framework experience with Struts2, Spring MVC or similar. We’re also looking for Web service experience, SOAP Request/Response handling, Authentication, Axis2. Knowledge and experience of JUnit is preferred.

Project is managing the security infrastructure . They use Tivoli Security. Tivoli Access Manager is the foundation. Also use WebSphere security server. Need Java developers who can write code to integrate COTS software into the environment.
Must Have:
Java/J2EE-2 years
Unix (Solaris)-another is OK (At least 1 year ? understand how to get around Unix, manipulate files and directories, use VI, some scripting)
If someone works primarily in Windows, they are not an ideal candidate. We need someone with Unix.
WebSphere (on WAS 6.7, but 6.1 is OK)-1 Year
