OBIEE Report Developer

 

The CFS Reporting team is looking for an experienced OBIEE reports developer to help support and enhance our established data warehouse. The ideal candidate would be proficient in reports development using OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence EE) and have good working knowledge of Oracle and SQL. They would also be proficient in dimensional/STAR schema data models. They would work well with a team and show initiative with regards to developing creative solutions to technical and practical challenges.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS:

This position reports to the Reporting Manager and is a consultant position within the Reporting group.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participate in the development of BI solutions focused on Oracle BI suite.
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards using OBIEE 10g and 11g.
  • Develop and fine tune OBIEE metadata repositories (RPD) using Admin tool.
  • Understand SQL queries generated by obiee and work with database developers in tuning them.
  • Assist in Migrating reports and RPD from OBIEE 10g to OBIEE 11g.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • 5+ Years of IT experience
  • 3+ Years of working experience in OBIEE report development
  • 3+ Years of working experience in Oracle database development
  • Proficiency in Dimensional modeling
  • Familiarity with translating business/functional requirements into technical requirements
  • Ability to use defect and change tracking software tools.
  • Financial Industry knowledge is preferred but optional
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility and service-minded attitude
  • Pro-active attitude and willingness to put forth suggestions for constructive improvement in provision of service
