Project: Business Process Improvement Project: analyze business processes and process requirements; review as-is and design to-be processes; use data and business analysis and communication skills to identify issues and propose resolutions.
BTI:
Statement: Drive business process improvement efforts within Servicing Operations' Workout Support Operations department. This group is transitioning from manual processes and document management to automated processes and data management. Successful candidate will use process analysis and improvement skills to identify issues, propose resolution, and drive implementation of improvements. Use data analysis skills to analyze, summarize, and communicate understanding of data patterns and anomalies. Use analytical skills such as are used in Six Sigma and Lean SS to understand current processes and perform root cause analyses to help identify and communicate issues and resolution alternatives.
Deliverables consist of industry standard process improvement artifacts such as as is and to be analyses, data analyses, impact assessments, process improvement recommendations, improvement implementation plans. Additional deliverables include task plans, action item lists and updates, meeting management artifacts (preparation, notes, follow up), status updates, and process-level and executive level documentation and communication material.
Skill level: Mid-level (3-7 yrs)
Skills: Business process analysis and improvement and supporting tools (process mapping, data analysis, root cause analysis, Six Sigma practices and tools). Expert in MS Office products: Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel. Familiarity with Share Point and MS Access would be useful. Proficient verbal and written communicator.
Comments: Familiarity with financial services or banking is nice to have but the above skills are more important.
