Title: Sr. SAP BPC Developer Locaiton: Houston, TX Duration: 6+ Months Skills Required: - Minimum 5 years of diversified information technology experience in delivering SAP BPC based planning solutions is required.
- Strong functional knowledge in the areas of SAP IS-OIL, SAP
- Finance and Controlling (GL, AP, AR, PCA, CCA), Project Systems, SD, MM and financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial consolidations in refining industry is required.
- Experience and understanding of SAP BI technologies such as SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects and its integration with SAP BPC is preferred.
- Experience in ABAP is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years leading small to medium projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with non-technical and technical customers and users at various levels in the organization.
Common Duties: - Works closely with business users to understand business processes and document requirements to advice solution architecture and design planning applications such as budgeting and forecasting, Capital Management, Cash Forecasting based on SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)
- Coordinates with business users and other IT departments to develop, implement, enhance and maintain complex planning and consolidation solutions using SAP BPC 7.5 Microsoft Platform and 10.1 SAP NW.
- Design, build, test and documents results to deploy end-to-end complex planning functionality. Expert level knowledge in developing input schedules, logic script, dimension formulas, business process flows and SSIS packages. Understands ECC processes applicable to planning, data structures and assists building interfaces for SAP BPC.
- Develops proto-types, proof-of-concepts and presents to stakeholders as solution options as well as for purposes of introducing new technologies, and development techniques in environment.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves system issues as assigned and provides recommendations to management, customers, and peers. Develops training materials, support documentation, and provides end user training within scope of responsibility.
- Provides production support and break-fix for planning applications
- Serves as subject matter expert for planning, budgeting and forecasting applications, and provides guidance and knowledge transfer to team members.
