Work Location : West Des Moines, IA Start Date : ASAP Duration : Long Term The role carries responsibility of administration & management of EMC storage arrays, backup management including upgrades, patches, maintenance releases, incidents, DC Migration/Replication and tech alerts. Technical Skills: Ø Minimum of 12 + years of Core EMC storage support experience with different models Main responsibilities Ø Design and execute Datacenter Storage migrations. Ø Participation in 24/7 on-call/on-duty support Ø Proven ability to handle several assignments simultaneously Ø Proven ability to manage and work independently Ø Backup configuration using Datadomain virtual tape libraries Ø Proven ability to mentor others in storage/backup and provide technical expertise when necessary Ø Superior proficiency in resolving EMC storage issues Ø configure and work on DR related activities Ø Participation in the review of processes and recommendations Ø Support of development, test and production database environments. Ø Management and recommendation of upgrades, patches, maintenance releases, incidents, and tech alerts. Ø Recommendation and implementations regarding new features as they become available Ø Establish and monitor corporate standards, including disaster recovery, security, and data retention. Ø Ability to determine and document root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Ø Core knowledge on EMC storage replication, troubleshooting and management. Good to have: Ø EMC certification required Ø Thorough knowledge on ITIL framework Ø Team lead experience a plus Ø ITIL Certification Ø Knowledge into EMC products.
