Mobile Tester Westborough, MA 1 month contract, possible extensions Starting immediately - At least 5+ years’ experience in manual testing and experience in defining and maintaining test plans and test specifications for functional, and integration testing
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in testing mobile (iOS & Android) native applications
- Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Develop, modify, enhance and implement test plans designed to support new or existing business initiatives
- Proficient in test tools (HP ALM, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience in running defect triage meeting and tracking the defects till closure
- Determine manual test cases that are candidates for automation
- Detail oriented, strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills required
- Create and Implement the quality assurance test strategy, approach and plan. Create and execute test plans, cases and scripts; establish and manage acceptance criteria, identifies defects and works to a resolution with the Developers and business teams.
- Ensures detailed technical requirements are captured from appropriate IS teams. Influences technical solution. Identifies gaps between technical design system/application capabilities, and negotiates resolution.
