Technical Program Manager Location: Alpharetta, GA - They should be from Technical Background ( started career as a technical resource)
Role – Technical Program Manager – Software Development - BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related fields or equivalent practical experience.
- 12-15 years of program management industry experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies in cloud computing or related technical fields.
- Experience working with engineering and in cloud computing.
- 5+ years of Experience as a software engineer and program/project management;
- Proven successful technical program management outcomes from idea to launching programs in multiple contexts throughout his or her career
- Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience
- Must be able to mix technical acumen with simple, everyday language to deliver a story
- The Technical Program manager must be able to talk about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people.
- Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audience
- Must work closely with developers, QA, product managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
- Preferred to have worked in banking, financial or security and capital markets vertical(s) as part of his or her career
Technical Stack - Strong understanding of Java,J2EE applications and Microservices.
- Must have strong Java development background (Preference is to have candidate done 6-8 years of coding in Java/J2EE platform and exposure to CI and CD concepts)
- Knowledge of the various CI/CD concepts, technologies and tools - Jenkins, chef, Puppet etc
- Hands on experience in either AWS, Azure and other cloud platforms.
- Good understanding of various infrastructure terminologies
- Good knowledge about Secure Coding, Secure SDLC and security practices
- Deep understanding of Scrum/Agile/Kanban
- Must be SAFEAgilist & a certified PMP/Program manager
- Must have deep understanding of Agile, Lean and other process improvement methodologies
