We need people very strong on back end. Client will interview over performance tuning and all aspects of that.
The Application Systems Engineer positions with the CORE technology team are key roles within CORE development
Hands-on development experience is critical for these roles and will constitute a majority of the responsibility.
Leverage industry (Java and J2EE) best practices to design, test, implement and support a multi-tier origination J2EE solution working with an Oracle DB. ASE roles act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 7 years of Java/J2EE development experience along with production support practice. Extensive knowledge and application of Java best practices and J2EE design patterns along with experience with application servers (i.e. Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.), and Oracle database servers.
Hands-on experience with n-tier J2EE technologies such as GWT, UI (MVC), Java EE 5, JSP, JavaScript, role based Authentication/Authorization, workflow, Web Services, ESB, JMS, Enterprise Beans, Spring/Hibernate, Ant, Maven, JDBC, JMX, securing Java applications, OS/file level security, XML, XSD, XSLT, Parsers, and UML documentation.
