.Net/ WPF Senior Software Engineer
The position involves new development and maintenance work (customer issues analysis, debugging, code fixes) on mission critical systems. All tasks are performed under a full life cycle methodology.
Job Responsibilities:

Analyzes and helps define high-level software strategies and solutions through functional and technical expertise and an understanding of the enterprise, business system.
·
Performs analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of application systems.
·
Integrates technical and application components to meet business requirements.
·
Creates detailed design specification for application components based on the requirements.
·
Ensures that software requirements are accurately reflected in detailed designs and coded modules.
·
Provides production and operations support.
·
Ensures compliance with the customers' guidelines, processes and procedures.
·
Confers project standards and procedures related to configuration management throughout the application software development/maintenance life cycle.
·
Confers with IT management on administrative policies and procedures related to technical problem resolution, and priority management that relate to the system support and maintenance
Required Skill Set and Educational Qualifications:
·
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical discipline.
·
Must have a minimum of 6 years of expert level knowledge and experience in using VB .Net to implement applications using relational databases.
·
Must have progressively increasing responsibilities as a VB / VB.Net Developer and performed in a lead or senior developer role.
·
Must have experience with Microsoft Visual Studio's IDE for .NET.
·
Must have experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). (this requirement is critical)
·
Must have experience with UML.
·
Must have experience with IBM Rational Suite/tools.
·
Must have experience with XML & XSL technologies.
·
Must have formal education in OOD/OOA methods.
·
Must have good understanding of relational database modeling techniques and SQL.
·
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
