Job Summary:
The Network Engineer III provides phone support for technical issues reported to client. They also perform on site hardware and software installations. This person works independently to perform internal or external consulting engagements like hardware assessments. Also has design level knowledge of Active Directory, SSO systems and blade solutions. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.
Essential Functions: In addition to working as prescribed in our Performance Factors specific responsibilities of this role include:
Technical Support: Provides support for moderate to complex technical issues and performs hardware assessments.
• Enters and updates incident details using our CRM system.
• Resolves Customer issues within appropriate timeframe to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participates in special projects that may require direct interaction with the customer and may require work at unusual hours of the day.
• Produces and maintains work instructions when required.
• Performs tests on hardware when assigned to determine its compatibility with our products.
• Utilizes Strong communications skills in both writing and verbal skills.
• Performs hardware and software installations at customer locations without supervision. Hardware will include servers and peripheral hardware systems.
• Maintains a working knowledge of 2 of the following systems (Windows, Unitrends or Unix).
• Coordinates the travel and events for all customer site visits in which they participate.
• Configures and loads servers when required.
• Performs hardware assessments for project management for internal or external use.
• Performs Clinical Server migrations when needed. Utilizes extensive product knowledge and network knowledge.

• Performs Pre and Post sales hardware assessments: Utilizes strong client communication and interaction skills.
• Designs, implements and deploys our Single Sign On (SSO) solution. Trains others on the SSO solution.
• Routinely designs and installs our blade solutions. Trains others on this solution.
• Routinely does Network Analysis including defining topology, defining servers and other components, Active Director (and other key components).
• Utilizes standard network diagnostic tools such as Network Observer.
Minimum Requirements
• Requires a minimum of 2 year degree in a computer field or a combination of relevant education and equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of computers and / or networks.
• Demonstrated extensive knowledge of Active Directory.
• Maintains certification in at least 2 approved subjects (i.e. MCP).
• Design level experience in blade solutions and SSO solutions.
• Demonstrated customer service and consulting skills.
