Position Description:
The College Board is currently seeking an individual to fulfil the role of Quality Engineer.
· The desired candidate should have 2-4 years’ experience working as a Quality Analyst within a mid to large size organization.
· The candidate will need to be able to work with various programs/departments in building processes and procedures around operational activities and be familiar with Quality practices and methodologies such as root cause analysis, data analysis, issue management, and implementing corrective actions.
· Experience working within, and managing SharePoint sites is also desired.
Required Skills:
· Assist in the issue management process, from logging new issues, to tracking actions, to closure
· Help maintain and manage QA SharePoint Site
· Support SharePoint design activities for automation of issue management process
· Produce ad-hoc reports using excel and/or other data analysis tools
· Create process maps and develop procedures for critical business and quality processes.
· Maintain QA departmental policies and procedures
· Draft or revise policies, procedures, and process flow documents to support multiple programs
· Assist with creating and presenting executive level reports on new and outstanding issues
Preferred Skills:
· 4 year degree in technical field or equivalent work experience
· 3+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance
· Knowledge of Quality principles, standards and methodologies
· Strong analytical and data analysis experience with structured problem solving ability
· Proficiency is usage of MS-Excel and MS-Power Point for data analysis and presentations
· Working knowledge or design experience in Sharepoint
· Flexibility and desire to quickly adapt to new methods, situations, and various requirements
· Excellent communication (writing, speaking, presentation), Strong interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and assist team members as needed
· Problem solving and resourcing skills
· Ability to multi-task efficiently
· Ability to travel (less than 15%)
