Description:
This position requires the individual to convert business requirements as Epics, Stories and Features into operational code. The
candidate should have experience in leading designs and have a good understanding of Open Source technology frameworks such
SPRING, Web Services, and Java based technologies. The candidate should have good verbal and written skills and be able to express
their design approaches to team members and peers. The deliverables of the effort will have to account for scalability, reliability and
maintainability. A good working understanding of clinical health data and health plan administrative data is a plus. Must have worked
on distributed platforms and experience with integrating with Third Party software products.
Requirements:
In depth knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Authorization and security.
Experience with Open source Javascript web and mobile frameworks.
Solid understanding of relational databases and knowledge of object databases.
Experience in database programing - SQL, JDBC Relational DBs(SQL Server/Oracle/Postgres etc.).
Ability to work independently and be flexible and pivot quickly to develop new capabilities for platform.
Experience/Knowledge of Amazon Web Services a plus
Experience in Healthcare preferred -minimum 5-7 yrs. experience leading development teams.
Must have worked in fast paced Agile projects.
Should be capable of converting high level requirements into detail design and execution plans.
Should be hands-on when needed and must be able to guide other Jr. developers as part of their direct team
Experience in Agile methodology and associated tool sets e.g. VSTS/Confluence, Jira, Stash, Git, GitHub and/or other CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of open source rules engines, XML, BPEL engines all a plus
