Background / General Information:
Purpose:
The purpose of this contractor is to support the WBG business continuity program in the review, analysis and correction of product deficiencies within an existing Sharepoint-based tool used within the BCM program.
Duties and Accountabilities:
Working with WBG business continuity programs and others as necessary, the contractor will undertake the following tasks:
Phase 1:
? Meet with stakeholders to identify existing deficiencies requiring correction
? Based on the stakeholder meetings above, define and agree project objectives and deliverables
? Review existing SharePoint code, system, output products and security aspects to determine cause of deficiencies
? Provide an action plan to accomplish the project objectives including specific activities, time and cost elements
Phase 2:
? If approved by WBG, develop, test, implement and document Sharepoint code and functionality changes required to achieve project objectives and correct deficiencies noted in phase 1.
? Liaise with stakeholders as necessary to achieve project objectives.
Selection Criteria:
? Super-user/expert-level skills in analyzing, creating and modifying MS Sharepoint tools;
? At least 5 years experience with Sharepoint development projects
? Proficient in information management approaches, tools and methodologies;
? Excellent computer skills and ability to use standard and integrate technology packages including Microsoft Office suite; Lotus Notes, including Lotus Work Place, web content management tools;
? Ability to develop creative solutions when provided with moderate direction and detail;
? Excellent verbal and written skills in English is essential;
? Must be a self-starter, willing to take initiative and be resourceful and imaginative in providing solutions;
? Able to work independently as well as in teams;
? Highly productive and comfortable in multi-tasking, with an ability to work under stress and within tight deadlines;
? Solid understanding of WBG and, specifically of business continuity programs within the WBG, is a distinct advantage.
Period of Performance:
The period of performance for phase 1 is anticipated to be not longer than 2 weeks from project start. Period of performance for phase 2 will be based on the contractor’s recommendation and consultation with WBG stakeholders |
