The new headcount has been approved as part of the new Treasury IT Liquidity Program. The role will participate in the design, development, implementation and support of the Cash By Business Line ??? DOTS (G4596). The role will also assist with the delivery of the new book of work required to source data and provide analytical reports that will assist the Global Treasury department in the tracking and managing of the liquidity and collateral risks associated with the Firm???s OTC derivative positions.
Delivery of reporting solution for the new Cash By Business Line application - using OBIEE as the reporting toolset. Effective analysis of the new application and proposed platforms.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Strong skills in documentation of technical specifications.
Demonstrated strengths in analysis, design and implementation of large projects at major financial corporation(s), particularly in areas of Oracle, Oracle Business Intelligence tools (OBIEE) and Data Warehousing ???
Provide technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within technology environments - Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for high performance, scalable, extensible applications - Caching techniques - Ability to define interfaces that can be implemented by the programming team
Contribute to the technical code documentation - Design, develop, and implement code - Implement fixes and enhancements -Involved in full life cycle of project - Excellent Technical Writing skills
Technology: OBIEE, Oracle 11g preferred (10g acceptable), OBIEE (definitely required) 2 years , Oracle PL/SQL 8 years + SQL Tuning 8 years + Development in Unix and Window 4 years + Data Warehousing / Dimensional Modelling 5 years - Ability to utilize programming methodologies and languages - Efficient coding i.e. adhering to coding standards, procedures and techniques.
Candidate will participate in production support issues and overnight and weekend batch cycle support as part of a rotation
Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree is mandated (degree in Computer Science or equivalent is highly desirable)
At least 2 years of hands-on programming experience with OBIEE (or Siebel Analytics);
Previous experience with other Business Intelligence and OLAP tools such as Business Objects is desirable;
4+ years hands on database experience with writing SQL and stored procedures;
4+ Years of hands on Multi-Dimensional Modeling experience;
5+ years of working on projects involving the implementation of Data Warehouse solutions;
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills;
Good understanding of database concepts;
2 or more years of working on projects involving clients in the Financial Industry;
Candidate should possess these additional technical competencies:
- Understanding of various components of OBIEE: BI Server, Presentation and Transformation;
- Planning, Setting up and managing Oracle BI Repository;
- Planning, Creating and Managing the Presentation Layer;
- Creating and Administering Physical Model in BI Server;
- Creating and Administering Business Model in BI Server;
- Managing Presentation Catalogs using Oracle BI Catalog Manager;
- Administering Oracle BI Answers, BI delivers, Presentation Services, Dashboards;
- Administering BI Presentation Services Security;
- Advanced Understanding of relational database concepts;
- Advanced Understanding of SQL;
- Excellent Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL; |
