Opportunity: Looking to hire up to 10 Application Packaging resources/contractors needed
for an estimated 3 months to start and possibly up to 6 months.
Experience: Experience with Microsoft App-V, experience with Flexera
Software Admin Studio a plus, but not required. This can be learned on the
job.
Job Description: Seeking experience with application compatibility, packaging and testing as it relates to Windows 7. We are working at a client site and are in the process of a migration to Windows 7. Experienced resources are needed to vet through over 3000 applications using customer approved processes for application compatibility for Win7, 64-bit and sequencing applications such as Microsoft App-V packages. Resources will follow an approved workflow, processes and collaborate with a team for compatibility testing using ChangeBASE AOK or similar tools; in addition to, Flexera Admin Studio for sequencing, packaging Microsoft App-v packages. Resources will work with a team on package testing and remediation in preparation for Windows 7 deployment.
Start Date: ASAP!
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm
