RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement innovative, high quality systems application software for use by casino operators. Applicant must be able to solve software engineering problems in a resourceful and effective manner, while maintaining robust software engineering solutions that adhere to design principles and anticipate future product features. This position requires the applicant to have a strong knowledge of C#, the .NET Framework, user interfaces, communications protocols, and relational database design.
The successful applicant will work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment to develop products through the software lifecycle, from requirements through deployment. The applicant must be able to interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources of input and communicate expectations clearly and concisely to management/peers/clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
· Minimum of 8 years software development experience required
· Advanced working knowledge of C# or Java
· Proficient in object oriented software design principles and patterns
· Experience using Winforms and MVC to implement intuitive user interfaces
· Experience using ASP.NET and MVVM to implement intuitive user interfaces
· Experience designing and implementing multi-tiered systems applications
· Experience implementing relational databases for OLTP systems (SQL Server or similar)
· Experience with communication protocols such as HTTP
· Experience with version control systems, SVN is a plus
· Proficient in writing unit tests
· Knowledge of casino gaming protocols (G2S and S2S) is a plus
Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain a gaming card.
