Job Description: Coordinate and execute the required actions to build-out the RUSA distributed infrastructure to support the development, testing, and validation of all legacy and new code development. Manages the COB plan, test, execute and recovery activities.
Duties:
Extract Infrastructure requirements from Development Designs, and Architecture specifications, and manage the build of needed infrastructure for the rainbow releases. Coordinate work with XLOB technical teams and ensure on time delivery.
Define the environmental requirements to implement Development, Conversion, Pre-IST, IST, UAT, PAT and Production environments in alignment to the Phase Plan.
Coordination point for working with RUSA & Legacy Developers, and other departments
Create and maintain up-to-date environmental diagrams including all application components.
Create and maintain detail infrastructure component lists.
Establish and maintain all comprehensive environment build documentation.
Track all required environment changes and ensure consistency across all environments.
Define and maintain the COB test plan, COB implementation plan and COB recovery plan. In addition, record testing results, and leading corrective actions from any tests/implementations.
Experience:
10+ years of hands-on working experience with distributed systems as
10+ either an engineer or systems programmer in a large enterprise Web
10+ Infrastructure environment (200+ servers)
Technical experience with Unix, Oracle, TCP/IP networking, Tibco, Websphere, and IBM M-Queue Series, SOA, XML messaging, Experience managing deliverables against tight deadlines.
Extensive experience using IBM compatible computers running Windows XP operating system or higher with Microsoft Office suite, and Microsoft Visio experience.
