Job Description:
The Sr. Build Engineer will maintain a network of build servers and automation systems utilizing Team City and custom build tools. He/she will work with infrastructure engineers to optimize and configure builds to meet the needs of the studio, work with the support team to diagnose and fix problems with daily builds as they arise, provide an accurate task list and adhere to a schedule based on project specifications, reliably create good quality, performance-sensitive code.
Required Skills:
? 5+ years software engineering experience
? Efficient in TeamCity, Lua, and Java.
? Experience with multiple operating systems: OS X, Linux, and Windows.
? Familiarity with Jam, Bash scripting (Django deploy scripts), Python/Django, and MySQL.
? Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Additional Skills:
? Networking/hardware troubleshooting experience
? Self-starter with a healthy curiosity, able to work alone and in teams, and on multiple projects simultaneously
? Ability to work with a broad variety of coding styles and code bases
? Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
? Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate work efforts and identify risks
? A positive attitude and the ability to take direction and receive criticism
? Ability to meet deadlines within well-defined production schedules
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal |
