Position Description:

 

·         This candidate needs to have strong web service testing and hands on Java programing experience.

·         Test engineer who has experience in building/testing a large scale data warehouse that aggregates data from a large number of data sources, strong data analysis skill and BI Report testing capability.

·         The candidate should have strong experience on Java based application testing, with basic Java programming or Java scripting skillset.

·         This person should be dependable individual with a proven track record of strong results.

·         The candidate should be able to develop and implement test cases for large/small projects independently.

·         This role will demand strong working relationships and interactions with dev/test/pm and cross group collaboration with other groups and products.

·         The candidate will have the unique opportunity to influence our product and business strategy by synthesizing business/customer needs, and delivering both strategic and tactical recommendation

 

Required Skills:

·         5+ years of Oracle experience

·         3+ years of web service testing experience

·         2+ years of Java programming/Java scripting

·         3+ years of Data Warehouse (i.e. Informatica, Ab Initio) solution experience including strong SQL skills

·         2+ years BI (Cognos, Query Studio) testing experience, including a strong understanding of the business requirements

·         Detailed Data warehouse testing knowledge including experience writing complex SQL, ETLs and BI.

·         A proven ability to collaborate well with cross functional groups and virtual teams to effectively solve technical challenges.

·         Effective problem solving and analytical skills

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Good understanding of BI business models

 

Preferred Skills:

·         Soap UI experience

·         Experience with Data profiling and quality assessment tools

·         Demonstrated proficiency in an object oriented programming (Java, Scripting, C/C++)

To ensure the delivery of high quality software products to the College Board internal customers, to include creating, maintaining and executing test plans to demonstrate the effectiveness of the College Board Business Systems

 

Required Skills:

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Principal Developer, Hyperion is the champion and technical expert for our Hyperion Application Suite, helping drive long term strategic direction, design requirements, features, functionality, and necessary enhancements along with day- to-day supporting of Hyperion Finance Modules and planning users.
