Hourly Pay Rate: $20/hr

Description

The Asset Migration Technician will contact MPS customers to upgrade their server from OS SQL 2008 to 2012 or 2016.
Responsible for upgrading work stations and registers from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
The Asset Migrations Tech shall engage customer, schedule appointment, ensure that all pre requisites are met prior to migration upgrade.

Perform upgrade, trouble shoot as necessary and follow up with customer following the upgrade.
The tech shall be knowledgeable in OS SQL 2008, 2012, and 2016.
Must be highly skilled at trouble shooting hardware issues.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills required. Schedule flexibility required,
Work schedule hours will be based on customer availability, Days off Tuesday and Wednesday.

Qualifications

Must have experience with Windows 7 to Windows 10.
Perform upgrade, trouble-shoot skills, hands on experience in OS/SQL 2008, 2012, and 2016.
An associate s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field is required

Role : UI/UX Designer

Location : Farmington, CT

Roles/Responsibilities/Experiences

• 5 or more years of UX design experience

• Expertise in standard UX software such as photoshop, illustrator, Sketch, InVision, and the like is a must. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills would be an advantage

• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision

• Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design

• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently

• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients

• Good understanding of lean UX design principles

• Ability to convert user requirements in to clickable prototypes

• Collaborate in the exploration of new, innovative product ideas while refining existing features. Oversee the entire UX process from insight to execution. Ensure delivery of high quality user experience and product design.

• Employ a range of human-centered design techniques, such as conceptual models, personas, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, to determine and convey design decisions. • Drives platform selection that support the UX products, build and activate in-market use.

• Collect and analyze KPI's to make informed recommendations for UX/UI improvements.

• Creative thinker, customer advocate, and player-coach who can both execute and manage product design and user research, while delivering on aggressive deadlines. • Ability to communicate and influence effectively with different audiences, including executive team members.

• Ability to develop and drive execution of strategies, tactics, measurable implementation plans across multiple brands.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent experience.

• Good to have prototyping experience to explore and communicate design decisions/front-end development, HTML/CSS, Sketch, Axure, Adobe After Effects or similar.
