BizTalk Developer
Client seeks a highly motivated software developer with extensive knowledge of BizTalk Server. As a member of the development team, the candidate performs development on new and very complex applications. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience, and should have worked in a team environment on systems that have moved to production.
Application development experience with the following:
• Microsoft BizTalk Server (2010 preferred)
• Microsoft BizTalk ESB Toolkit (2.1 preferred)
• VB.NET or C# (C# preferred)
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0
• Visual Studio (2010 preferred)
• Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle Database (desired, but not required)
Understanding of the following:
• XML, XSD, schema development, XPath
• Map, orchestration, custom pipeline component development
• Data translation concepts (desired, but not required)
• Application debugging
• Application performance analysis
• Source control usage and concepts
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills, including time management
• Ability to take direction and work in a structured environment
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Additional Skills (Skills that are a plus, but not required)
Mainframe (IMS, CICS, DB2, VSAM)
Assignment
• Perform BizTalk development.
• Perform database development using SQL Server and/or Oracle Database.
• Participate in architectural review sessions to learn new system architectures.
• Author technical documentation.
