Title | SAP PI Consultant | Primary Skills | SAP PI | Location | Columbus, OH | Duration | 3 Months+ | Job Description | The role of the SAP PI developer will be primarily enhancement development. The project is making modifications or enhancements to the SNC module in SAP to meet business requirements. The resource will need to be able to modify BAPIs as well as create new or modify existing PI based interfaces. The resource will be reporting to the middleware team manager for status and decision making for design or coding considerations. The resource will be reporting to the project manager and testing lead to provide status on work progress, risks, and issues.
Required Skills:
•SAP PI
•ABAP
Preferred Skills:
•Experience with SAP SNC functionality, preferred
•Experience with TIBCO, preferred
•Experience with Datastage, preferred
Responsibilities:
•Technical specification documentation
•Code
•Unit Testing
•Defect correction during all phases of testing
Skill Level:
•Intermediate to Expert in SAP PI ? 3-5+ years of PI experience on multiple projects as a developer or lead developer
•Basic to Intermediate in SAP ABAP ? 1-3+ years of ABAP experience as a developer
•Basic to Intermediate knowledge of SAP SNC functionality
•Knowledge of software development lifecycle
•Strong written documentation skills for the purposes of updating technical specification documentation
•Strong troubleshooting skills |
