MUST have VB.NET Win forms experience on their resume. VB would be a major plus since they are converting from VB to VB.NET. Must see the Win forms experience.
Application is used by the Supply and Trading group and is used to pay suppliers, capture contracts and make corrections
Current Application is written in VB6 and they are going to be converting this application to VB.NET(Desktop)
She will be overseeing the new development and will be interacting with the end users to make sure they like all of the changes with the application
These developers are going to be responsible for:
Looking at the current VB6 screens and replicating it in VB.NET (might also make additional modifications and enhancements where applicable)
Digging into the VB6 code and replicating it and making necessary changes
Will be doing some work with Middle tier-Business Logic
The new VB.NET Application will be a desktop application (win forms)
They are ok with people that have more recent C#.NET and web based development as long as they have done VB.NET for desktop applications in the past
