Job Description:
10+ years of experience as an Architect in real time project with hand on exposure as a Data Curation/Data Wrangling, development, testing, and production implementation for a Big Data Project. Extensive experience in Designing architecture components, GUI interfaces, scripts and pluggable components plus developing applications in Java/ Scala using a variety of frameworks and tools.
Experience in Spark streaming, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, HBase and Spark and exposure to Big Data Exploration, Profiling, Quality and Transformation. Exposure in developing low level scripts for ingestion, curation, quality assurance and publication & proficient in designing ETL/ELT workflows, schedulers, and event-based triggers. Must have experience Interacting with the Client SME. Extensive experience in performance tuning of Hive & Spark and Hadoop Good in Python scripting, CDC tool & NoSQL databases, such as HBase or Cassandra with exposure to Snaplogic Excellent in Mentoring the technical team

1. Very Strong SQL Skills
2. Good Scripting Skills in Python / Unix .
3. Good Understanding of Hadoop ecosystem and Hive in Particular .
4. Good understanding of Tidal or any other scheduling tools
5. Able to work with Architects and Analyst community independently.
6. Strong technical expertise in Hadoop, Apache Hive,Apache Spark
7. Good in writing mapreduce jobs
8. Strong in Java programming languages with the ability to work in production level applications Understanding of cloud and distributed systems principles, including load balancing, networks, scaling, in-memory vs. disk Experience with large-scale, big data methods, such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, and HBase
9. Good understanding on SQL and NO SQL Data stores
10. HiveQL creation and experience
11. Good understanding in Java design patterns
12. Ability to work efficiently under Unix/Linux environment with experience with source code management systems like GIT
13. Good understanding of object oriented design
