#Position 1 - Infrastructure Analyst/Engineer

Job Description
Monitors hardware utilization, database utilization, and system response time Troubleshoot failed equipment, connections, facility issues and other components of the IT infrastructure. Monitors hardware utilization, database utilization, and system response time. Working knowledge of supporting software including; ISPF, TSO, SDSF, JES2, MVS, AFOPER,DFSMSHSM Monitor multiple LPAR environments responding to system requests and outstanding replies Create/Update incident/change tickets. Support changes as needed (IPL, Weekly System maintenance) Batch Processing support Monitor production batch processing via scheduling software TWS for z/OS Research and respond to batch processing delays and escalate as needed Handle Ad-Hoc Requests Experience with handling distributed platform jobs from z/OS is desirable. Follow established escalation procedures reporting any delays or problems to the Shift lead or Manager Join crisis lines to assist problem resolution Abend handling Respond to inquiries/questions received. Review job logs, MVS logs, etc to assist in research for problem resolution Document problem/issues in turnover reports and time lines when needed Report & document any abnormal job failures in accordance with established procedures. Document all problems & issues encountered during the shift. Prepare shift turnover Monitor and control the master console Perform shutdown and start-up of all operating systems Promote knowledge sharing, assist with updating documentation to remain current across shifts

Strong experience within Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS - Strong experience of Data Warehouse project
- Strong experience from Database Development, advanced concepts
- Strong experience from ETL Development
- Strong Power BI skill.
- Experience from System Development
- Experience building report solutions with SSRS, Power BI and/or Business Object.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skill.
- Ideal candidate should have around 3 to 8 years of professional experience
