Description
• Create and maintain ETL packages to combine data from various sources within and external to nTelos.
• Develop data marts for reporting on various business metrics.
• Design and develop SQL Reporting Services reports in support of business processes.
• Support IT Network Engineering in server, network, and database maintenance tasks.
• Work with project management team to identify and refine project requirements.
• Perform query and index optimization functions on existing Data Warehouse processes.
• Identify areas of business reporting and decision making that can be improved using Business Intelligence functionality.
• Develop creative and efficient solutions to complex business problems.
• Develop and support the creation and use of SQL Analysis Services cubes.
• Support the development and maintenance of SSPS Modeler models within the business.
• Follow the software development life cycle in all development efforts.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
Requirements
• Minimum 4 year degree from an accredited college
• 5 plus years of SQL Server development experience including Database Engine, Integration Services, Reporting Services (samples of work required)
• 3 plus years of development experience with SQL Server 2005 or later.
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services a plus.
• Ability to successfully balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with ASP a plus. |
