Special/Technical skills required: Cisco Networking,
Security (ASA, VPN, IPS), and Nexus 2K, 5K, 7K. CCIE preferred but not required.
Description of Services to be provided: Tasks will be assigned by client. Perform client consulting in the area of network engineering tasks (hardware and software) involving routers (Cisco), switches (Cisco Catalyst and Nexus), network security devices (Cisco ASA), protocol analyzers, TCP/IP, VPN, Frame Relay, and MPLS
- Design, plan, and implement, and maintain LAN, WLAN and WAN environments involving modern and legacy technologies
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems related to LAN/WAN environments
- Conduct throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning
- Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade network infrastructures
- Document all work according to client's directions and standards
1. Design, configuration, implementation, and operation of Cisco routers
2. Design, configuration, implementation and operation of Cisco Catalyst
3. Design, configuration, implementation and operation of Cisco switches Nexus switches
4. Design, configuration, implementation and operation of Cisco firewalls,
5. Design, configuration, implementation and operation Cisco wireless equipment.
6. Adherence to customer's standard operating procedures
7. Documentation according to customer's directions and standards
