Opportunity
The QA Team is a dynamic, experienced team responsible for testing of our product. As a member of the QA group, you will work closely with product management and developers to ensure high quality and timely product releases.
We’re looking for someone with direct recent experience with:
· Test planning
· Automation
· Cucumber
· Testing large scale systems
Responsibilities:
- Test planning
- Automation
- Design of testing systems to support using automated test tools
- Participate in product feature design discussions
- Conduct reviews of requirements specifications, high-level and detailed-designs
- Design and develop test plans based on high-level and detailed designs
- Execute tests, participate actively in unit testing, system testing, and regression testing
- Evaluate quality risk for product changes/fixes and propose test plans to address risks
- Analyze and report test results to product teams
- Analyzing reported bugs for continuous process improvement
- Work with software developers, product analysts and test engineers to resolve the issues
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of QA related experience
- Expertise with developing high quality automated testing systems
- Experience testing large scale systems
- Experienced with automation tools, like cucumber or others
- Strong understanding of QA principles and processes
- Experience with MySQL and Linux
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Understanding of Internet and web technologies (including Java, HTML, etc.).
