Responsibilities:
Help within internal Infrastructure Simplification program
Qualifications:
5-7 years of hands-on Sybase database administration, maintenance and production support
A working knowledge of Sybase 12.5
Experience working with Sybase replication server
Experience working with Sybase OpenSwitch
Unix Shell scripting/programming experience
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environment tools and utilities
Database application design
Sybase database performance tuning experience
Experience working in high-availability clustered and virtual environments
Experience working in very large mission-critical environments
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
Professionalism at all times with ability to be a team player
Ability to work overtime and to work under the pressure of tight deadlines
Ability to execute DBA tasks with minimal supervision
