Job Description
This individual will work as part of a .Net development team for a telecommunications client. This individual will participate in all aspects of analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of development including programming, application testing, final delivery to the test team, and installation in the production environment.
- Participate in joint requirement definition (JRD) sessions to define detailed user requirements.
- Translate the user requirements into the high-level and detailed application design.
- Setup development and production environments.
- Develop clear and concise documentation.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Programmer with hands-on experience with Microsoft .Net technologies (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, WF, WCF, MVC).
- Prior experience with OO methodologies, code management and tools such as Rational, UML.
- Prior experience building an application from the ground up.
- Prior experience with WCF and SOA a strong plus.
- Prior experience within the Network Engineering field a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a team player and be able to develop an excellent rapport with clients.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical discipline required.
