Location: Portland, OR
Duration 6 Months+
Responsibilities
This contractor will be responsible for development, testing, configuration changes, and migration modifications for the user interface of the portal using WebSphere Portal technology. Includes detailed design specification and testing specification creation.
Production ready portlets, fully documented and knowledge transfer to production support teams.
Follow IT Change management processes and procedures
Document all technical specification documents as well as revise or create support documents
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in related discipline.
3+ years of experience developing solutions using IBM WebSphere Portlet Factory
Web development experience, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related technologies
Java programming experience
XML, XSLT, XSD development experience
Highly Desirable:
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum methodology
Subversion tool
LDAP directories, including Active Directory
