Job Summary
As a software engineering professional, the Application Development Contractor is responsible for building, integrating, and maintaining business applications that enable our Financial Settlement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy new applications and/or enhancements to the existing Financial Settlements solution
- Participate in the Agile development process and work collaboratively within the team
- Work with business users to analyze problems and design solutions
- Demonstrate initiative, engagement, and a commitment to quality and customer service
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in computer science or other related field
- 5-10 years experience developing and maintaining custom business applications
- Strong knowledge of object oriented programming
- Expertise in Java and MVC web frameworks
- Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle preferred)
- Experience with Agile development helpful but not required
- Strong oral and written communications skills
