Hello, We are looking for System Administrator IV. System Administrator IV (1160) Location: Houston, TX (InPerson Interview) Duration: 6+Months
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective & efficient installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of server systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This role is more if an operations role where this resource will be troubleshooting any systematic or infrastructure issues. This resource will be working on a team with 3 other MDM analysts in Houston and 3 in Manila. Will also be working with external teams such as IRSM, Active Directory team, Exchange email team, etc. Responsibilities will include when there is a level 3 issue, they will be conducting investigation into issue and troubleshoot it, involved in compliance activities (monthly and quarterly), will be planning, organizing, and coordinating any changes in the environment.
· The System Administrator should have 5 years of experience in SA related solutions for various minor projects and operational needs
· Contributes to and maintain system standards
· Researches and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for sys admin tasks.
· Provides Level 3 support per request from end users.
· Investigates and troubleshoots complex issues.
· Repairs/recovers from hardware and software failures; coordinate and communicate with impacted end users.
· Performs periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
· Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configures CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
· Prepares reports and presentations as requested or necessary within IT & minor customers. ; Microsoft Certifications or cybersecurity is a plus.
· Non negotiable skills include: having Airwatch experience and troubleshooting on IOS devices.
· Nice to haves include: - ability to code in C#, C++, .Net, worked on SQL database, and can do some SQL scripting.
· Scope of work examples: Windows, Exchange , OCS, Windows Infra (AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, File & Print, IIS, FTP), SharePoint 2010 & 2016, F5, VMware, etc.
**Work schedule may include early mornings/late nights due to team in Manila. Work day hours will look like a 9-6pm schedule.
**Interview process includes phone screen with manager, then in person interview with manager and team.
