Our client is the leading storage and infrastructure company in the world. They are growing their backup and recovery practice. Our client is managing the backup environment for a major customer in Mountain View CA. They are in need of a consultant with experience implementing, configuring, and providing administration on NetBackup 7.1. The consultant will travel to customer sites in California, review the current environment, implement NetBackup 7.1, perform configuration and ensure that it is running at maximum performance and efficiency. The consultant will execute *test runs* of the environments and make the necessary changes as needed. The consultant should be well versed in EMC, HP, IBM, and HDS environments. The consultant will be asked to provide knowledge transfer to customer staff.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong working knowledge of NetBackup 7.1
NetBackup 7.1 implementation experience
NetBackup 7.1 configuration experience
NetBackup administration experience
Experience working in EMC, HP, IBM, and HDS storage environments
Strong English verbal and documentation skills
Experience mentoring and providing knowledge transfer
Desire and ability to travel throughout California
