Key Responsibilities
• Design mobile payments platform for multiple mobile payments applications.
• Application design, development, and maintenance for mobile platforms
• Set and enforce best practices.
• Proactively identify gaps in all processes, procedures, monitors, alerts, designs, etc. and provide recommendations on how to resolve these.
• Perform regular/periodic peer/code reviews.
• Work closely with test engineers on specifications and testing paradigms.
Qualifications
• 5 years minimum experience in Information Technology with extensive experience and expertise in "ground up" architect/design of complex multi-tier enterprise applications on host and distributed environments.
• Strong technical background with hands on experience for at least 3-5 years in emerging technologies including but not limited to Java/J2EE, design patterns, object-oriented and open source frameworks.
• Expertise in developing light weight business components and integrated applications using Struts, SOAP, XML, Ant, Maven, Spring Framework, Spring (MVC, Security and web services) and understanding of Spring web-flow for managing complex page.
• Experience in Hibernate, MyIBatis Object Relational Mapping (ORM) and data persistence.
• Experience in SQL (Oracle a plus).
• Experience in mobile handset development (iOS, Android) a plus.
• Experience with version controls such as Subversion and Clear Case.
• Previous experience using Apache and Tomcat is a plus.
• Extensive experience in full software life cycles with industry standard methodologies; some Agile experience required
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills and highly motivated team player with ability to work as a Lead or independently.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to the emerging new technologies and toolsets.
• Must have comprehensive expertise in the software development process. |
