4 to 6 months with possibility for long term extension.
Play key role in design, development and deployment of Analytical
Applications in a hosted environment.
Experience customer requirements first hand and design solutions
which go beyond traditional BI solutions.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign,
or development of new Analytics.
Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques
and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, quality
assurance, and other teams to deliver the Analytic product.
Work in a high paced and rewarding environment with bleeding edge
technologies and innovative concepts
Required Skills / Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, with 10+ years related information systems
experience and 7+ years in Data warehousing/ Business Intelligence
Expertise with Data Analysis, Data Modeling, ETL Architecture and
Data warehousing, concepts, terminology, and architecture.
Experience with various business intelligence technologies
(applications, databases, ETL, reporting, etc.).
Experience with OLAP
Expertise in designing logical and physical multi-tenant DB Schema
and performance tuning of ETL / DB etc.
Excellent SQL skills and in-depth understanding of database
technologies.
Able to translate user requirements into functional or product
requirements and be able to document those.
Training is critical part of Implementation process; candidate
should have had experience preparing training material as well as delivering effective training to the end users.
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive
listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks.
Excellent team player, able to work with virtual and global cross
functional teams.
Interpersonal Skills
"Self-starter" attitude and the ability to make decisions
independently
Work closely with Developers, QA, and Product Managers to
understand requirements An effective communicator, able to clearly articulate ideas and inspire others for action; clear, succinct and persuasive at all levels, including executives, with solid business acumen
