Performance Test lead
Job Description ? Technical
• Prepare performance test strategy and test plan for distributed, multi-tiered online and batch applications.
• Work with Configuration management team, architects, DBAs, server team and development teams to plan end-end performance test mimicking ?day-in-life’ scenario.
• Help coordinate test environment, test data, prepare test scripts
• Help in definition of data refresh process to repeat tests
• Configure infrastructure and application monitoring tools for testing .NET, J2EE and Web service
• Coordinate the execution of performance test, monitoring key components the during the test
• Participate in various phases of SDLC, review requirements, design and test cases to ensure right coverage
• Coordinate sessions with various teams to address any defects found, facilitate application tuning, repeat tests etc.
• Analyze test results, prepare final reports and present to the key stake holders
Skills
• Sound project management experience and ability to lead teams
• Preferably 8-10 years of experience testing distributed, multi-tiered online and batch applications.
• Experience testing .NET, J2EE and Web service, minimum two years with batch and web services
• Experience in testing integration components using SFTP, Web services and SSIS
• Knowledge of performance bottlenecks and end-to-end performance measures (server response time, throughput, network latency, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring using CA-Spectrum, CA-Wily Introscope
• Experience using HP Performance center, Load runner (version 10/11), Vugen
• Very good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
