SENIOR ADOBE FLEX DEVELOPER

Our large client in the southwest Chicago suburbs has an immediate need for a senior resource with experience in design, development and deployment of web applications using Adobe Flex. This individual will work out of their Naperville, IL headquarters.
Role Responsibilities
This position is responsible for all aspects of design, development, testing and support of web applications built with Adobe Flex. Will participate in major user interface development initiatives. Successful candidates will show good problem solving skills, have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment.
1. Responsible for solution design and development using Adobe Flex, AIR, LCDS
2. Execute and support unit/integration testing. Assist with the design of test cases and with the resolution of defects found during testing.
3. Attend architecture, design and code reviews.
4. Troubleshoot issues with code delivered to production.
5. Determine technical solutions to meet business requirements, analyze the programs that need to be written or revised, and estimate the time and resources needed to complete the project/assignment.
6. Determine appropriate technologies to solve business and system problems.
7. Follow processes/operational policies associated with our client’s program methodology and solution development standards
Required Experience / Skills
- Minimum 8 years of development experience
- Minimum 4 years of Flex development experience
- Solid understanding of Adobe LiveCycle Data Services (LCDS)
- Will need to be comfortable working through the entire project cycle (from documenting requirements through design, development, testing and deployment)
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related, plus 4 years equivalent experience.
- Exceptional written and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting issues and creating optimal solutions
- Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with many levels of technical and business
acumen
- Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities
- Ability to learn business rules governing multiple businesses and systems
- Ability to learn and master new software technologies and products
- Proficient in Requirements gathering
- Follow and enforce SDLC
