Specific Duties and Responsibilities
? The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP Financials and Controlling to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
? Design, configuration and testing of core FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, Special Ledgers, New GL and Period End Processes, Fixed Assets, PS, MM)
? Experience with ALE functionality
? Experience with design, configuration and testing of all the modules listed
? Experience with CTA and Line item managed process.
? Experience with report writer and report painter
? Experience with Project System and Material Management.
? Experience and knowledge of key integration points with FI/CO modules
? Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
? Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs as it relates to Finance.
? Competent enough to evaluate, recommend and implement automation solutions to support activities of business unit.
? Good people / communication skills to interface with the user community and development teams facilitating technical and non-technical concepts
? Be a good team player and also be capable to lead mid/large project teams
? Experience to Multinational , Multicurrency, GLOBAL implementations preferred
? Preference with experience in Financial Asset Management Industry including Statutory & US GAAP reporting
Qualifications
? Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting)
? CMA, CFA or Chartered accounting designation; nice to have
? Minimum 5 years of SAP FI/CO configuration experience
? Must have at least two full lifecycle SAP implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live)
Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards
? Business knowledge and process design skills
? Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations
Strong organizational skills
? Able to collaborate with clients, and have a strong desire to excel.
? Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
? Good interpersonal skills
? Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
? Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines
? Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
? Must be an effective problem solver
? Reading and understanding of ABAP code; nice to have
