This is a heads down, hands-on coding position. We are an agile team and need someone who is comfortable with ambiguous problems and can manage their time across multiple tasks. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on UI developer to join our application development team. We are building solutions in the Clinical Decision Support space designed to improve the quality of patient care. Become an important member of our team contributing to the strategic technical direction, delivering well structured code, and collaborating with other members of the team in development, systems analysis and product development.
- 5-7 years experience minimum
- Familiar with user experience and information architecture concepts and methods
- Expert in HTML with demonstrated proficiency in HTML5 and well-structured semantic code
- Demonstrated expertise in CSS: structure vs presentation, good use of selectors, responsive CSS based on device size and capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript: management of js files, manipulation of the DOM, utilization of common frameworks like Sencha/Ext-JS4, and others
- Demonstrated experience with AJAX and JSON data transport using Restful APIs
- Solid understanding of tag-based analytics (omniture, Google, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience building consumer-facing interfaces for web-based applications
- Knowledge of and experience with common image editing tools, familiar with image optimization techniques
- Demonstrated experience with 508/ADA a plus
